Dieu cr\u00e9a donc l\u2019Homme \u00e0 son image ; il le cr\u00e9a \u00e0 l\u2019image de Dieu, et il les cr\u00e9a m\u00e2le et femelle. Dieu les b\u00e9nit, et il leur dit : &lsquo;Croissez et multipliez-vous ; remplissez la terre, et vous l\u2019assujettissez, et dominez sur les poissons de la mer, sur les oiseaux du ciel, et sur tous les animaux qui se meuvent sur la terre \u00bb (Gen\u00e8se I 26-28).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">L&rsquo;Homme s&rsquo;est vu attribuer un statut privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 par Dieu, tandis qu&rsquo;une qualit\u00e9 divine : l&rsquo;<em>esprit<\/em>, impr\u00e8gne l&rsquo;Homme, une dignit\u00e9 refus\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;ensemble des autres cr\u00e9atures. L&rsquo;une des cons\u00e9quences de la domination accord\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019Homme sur la nature \u00e9tait pr\u00e9visible : \u00e9tant d\u00e9finie non pas comme devant \u00eatre honor\u00e9e par les humains, mais leur \u00e9tant assujettie, rien ne s\u2019opposait \u00e0 ce qu\u2019ils la d\u00e9vastent en l&rsquo;exploitant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Le r\u00e9cit biblique exprimait une vision agressivement anthropocentrique, l&rsquo;Homme \u00e9tant situ\u00e9 au-dessus du reste de la nature. Ce r\u00e9cit est rest\u00e9 incontest\u00e9 durant quinze si\u00e8cles, il a ensuite fait l&rsquo;objet d&rsquo;attaques, de r\u00e9examens et de remises en question de plus en plus fr\u00e9quents au
